In late April 2026, Professor Wenlin Wang, director of the Institute of Chest Wall Surgery (ICWS), was invited to speak at the Emirates International Thoracic Surgery Congress 2026 held in Abu Dhabi.
The Second Global Chest Wall Surgery Conference, jointly organized by the Institute of Chest Wall Surgery (ICWS), the International Chest Wall Surgery Organization(ICWSO), and the Guangdong Association of Thoracic diseases, will be held on July 18，20226，in Guangzhou, China.
In March 2026, Professor Wenlin Wang of ICWS attended the 84th Mexican National Congress of Thoracic Surgery, presenting advanced chest wall surgery concepts and techniques, including the Wang, Wung, and Wenlin procedures, and introducing innovative treatment strategies for complex chest wall deformities to Latin American specialists.
In mid-October 2025, at the invitation of Indonesian medical experts, Professor Wenlin Wang traveled to Makassar and Bali to conduct surgical demonstrations and participate in academic exchanges. During the visit, he presented the techniques and principles of the ICWS team, providing more doctors with opportunities to learn about innovative chest wall surgical methods, and offering local patients a wider range of safe and effective treatment options.
