Dr. Weiguang Long serves as Vice President of the Institute of Chest Wall Surgery (ICWS), and Executive Committee Member and Secretary-General of the Chest Wall Surgery Specialty Committee under the Guangdong Association of Thoracic Diseases.
With over a decade of experience in clinical practice, scientific research, and education in chest wall surgery, Dr. Long has made significant contributions, particularly in the field of chylous diseases. He has refined techniques for chemical pleurodesis and pericardial window, successfully treating over 200 complex cases and achieving a 100% cure rate for congenital chylothorax.
